Is this the future of catwalk shows? On Wednesday night British label Burberry held a fashion show with holographic models for it's Prorsum Autumn/Winter 2011 collection - directed, conceptualized and executed by Christopher Bailey:
This could well be the beginning of an exciting new era in the fusion of the technology and fashion. The holographic images have been combined with live models to create a surreal and absolutely magical runway experience. And when you watch the video below, the holograms are so good its hard to tell where the live models end and the digital ones begin. Even the outfits change when the model's walk into each other. Welcome to the next level.
