Team Uncool Fashion Likes: Fred Perry Footwear A/W 2010 Dorsey Boot

While in Copenhagen I walked into a beautifully curated shop in Frederiksberg called 'Fred and friends' (you can find them on Gamel Konjeveg in Frederiksberg) and bought a pair of Fred Perry leather boots. Love them and couldn't find them on the Fred Perry website. But you can find them on a couple of websites and in the new A/W 2010 catalogue. Here is one to check them out.

Team Uncool Fashion Loves: Weekday (Sweden) In house screen printing.

On my recent trip to Copenhagen I came across a clothing brand from Sweden called Weekday. Their range was great and they where super hipster, but the thing that I liked the most in the store is their in house screen printing. All the stores print in house.

I got chased out the store after taking the pic.

More to come from my trip to Scandalous
Scandinavia.

teamuncool fashion likes Marketing Equipment Fall 2010

Marketing Equipment presents us with their Fall 2010 collection expertly photographed by Cameron Krone, Genaro Perez (Red) and Yuri PleskunRequest). The clean and modern design of the collection is accented with the stark minimalism of the lookbook. Additionally, stylist Tom Van Dorpe did a great job with this shoot.

teamuncool fashion likes PATTERNITY and SUPERMARKET SARAH

PATTERNITY is a London based design studio specialising in the discovery & application of pattern within the Fashion, Interior & Luxury fields.

Founded in August 2009 by Art Director Anna Murray & Textile & Surface Designer Grace Winteringham – Patternity manifests their shared vision & mutual appreciation for pattern found everywhere & everyday ‘from the mundane to the magnificent’.

Patternity consistes of three core parts; an image RESOURCE featuring an archive of constantly updated patterned finds from around the world, an East London based STUDIO where they work on a range of products, projects, designs, collaborations & consultations within the creative industries & also a curated online SHOP selling limited edition & one off patterned pieces. Through these three areas they aim to encourage people to see, enjoy & be inspired by the patterned world around them.

Through the patterns they seek, the work they do as a studio & the items they sell in their online shop, Patternity encourages viewers to change perspective & embrace the overlooked – enhancing the everyday.

To Patternity both the impressive & the overlooked can be a valuable trigger of inspiration. This is echoed in the work they produce as a studio which ranges from bespoke furniture to fashion, accessories & exhibition curation.

Team Uncool Loves: Wardrobe 19 Copenhagen, Denmark

In Copenhagen at the moment. Spent the day walking around Larsbjornsstraede today and came accross an amazing menswear store selling mostly classic contempory stuff. The owner and mastermind befind the new store, Martin Skovbo Vestphael showed me the store, where I spent way to much but walked out with total retail satisfaction.

The image above is of Martin himself.

You can find the store at 1454 Kobenahavn K, Copenhagen.

Team Uncool Fashion Loves: If the T-Shirt Fits Wear it (Blogger T)

Bradley Kirshenbaum owner and designer of Love Jozi T-shirts. The Johannesburg based T-Shirt label has come up with another great one. His new T-Shirt which has the words, 'No Body Reads Your Blog.' I found this one perfect and appropriate to be blogged about. According to him this was the biggest seller on his latest tour to Dusseldorf Germany for Fashion Week, where he sold his T-Shirts along side Black Coffee who where showing at the fashion week.

This range has been released under Bradley's secondary label, If The T-Shirt Fits Wear It.

Team Uncool Likes: Ilustrator Kelly Shepard (UK)

Met Kelly a couple of weeks ago and when she sent me her work and told me that she had earlier this year sat on front row at London Fashion week I was even more curious about her. She won a competition through Vauxhaul Fashion Scout judged by top Illustrator Daisy Villeneuve. “Kelly’s illustrations were strong and bold, giving the characters she’d drawn attitude in which the clothing came alive” Daisy Villeneuve.

She went on to meet some of the fashion greats, people like Anna Wintour (Editor Vogue US) and Mario Testino (Fashion Photographer), to name a few. You can see the documentation of her experience on her blog, www.kellyanna.wordpress.com .
