Here at oki-ni we have become known as a worldwide destination at which to pick up Japanese brands and rare Japanese products.
We never intentionally set out to do this when launching oki-ni… the concept has always simply been to keep discovering and breaking the most interesting products and brands available and then hosting them in an environment that resembles who and what we are.
For us, Japanese brands are putting out some of the most interesting product and doing it in a way that very much embodies a style that only the Japanese can really execute.
The Japanese have such an acute eye for product – they spot something, take what they want from it and make it so much better with a unique twist or development; and of course quality is always at the core.
We feel privileged that we can go out and hand pick these kinds of products, especially as 90% of these brands never make it outside of Japan.
